Happy Sunday y’all! We had a rather chill week compared to last week. That is until the weekend 🤦🏼♀️ My grandmother fell at her home on Friday. She has dementia, and if you know anyone with dementia than you know they can be stubborn (like dealing with a toddler at times stubborn) when they want to be. Well she refused to go to the doctor until my mom made her Saturday morning. Bless her, she broke her ankle. Thankfully not a bad break. She goes to ortho on Monday for evaluation and to see what else may need to be done. Y’all I’m praying for no surgery! She can’t handle the anesthesia.
After that mess, we headed to my in-laws’ house to watch the football game and let the kids play. Y’all my team!!! They looked like a brand new team out there. AND THEY WON!!!! 41-21, completely shut out the other team in the second half. It was fan-freaking-tastic. 🎤 Good Old Rocky Top, Rocky Top Tennessee! #GBO #VFL
Reading wise, it was a slow week. I managed to read one book this week (two if I finish my current read before this posts), Stalking Jack the Ripper. Y’all know how to pick a great TBR book. I could not sit it down. It’s on my favorites list now, and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
