2019 Reading Challenges: 3rd Quarter Update

We are in the home stretch of 2019! It seems like only yesterday I was making my signup posts for this year’s challenges. This quarter is always busy as two of the three months are spent with back to school activities, birthdays, and school fundraisers. Honestly I’m exhausted even thinking about it. I managed to finish 33 books this quarter, averaging 11 a month 🙌 I can safely say that mojo is back! I’m hoping to keep the momentum going through to the end of the year. Challenge wise, I’ve completed 2 of my 5 challenges so far and believe that I can complete the other three before the end of the year 🤞 At least I hope so!

The Audiobook Challenge 2019 is hosted by the Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Hot Listens. For this challenge, you simply listen to audiobooks. You can sign up anytime between now and December 31, 2019. My goal this year is Binge Listener (20-30 audiobooks). During this quarter, I managed to listen to 16 audiobooks, completing this challenge! Here are the books I listened to during the 3rd quarter:

2019 Audiobook Challenge: 28/20

The 2019 Beat the Backlist challenge is hosted by Novel Knight. For this challenge, books published in 2018 or earlier AND read and reviewed during 2019 count. You can sign up anytime between now and December 31, 2019. My goal for this challenge is to read at least half of the books on my TBR shelf so I set it at 30 books. The Netgalley and Edelweiss Reading Challenge 2019 is hosted by Reading Between the Pages. Basically this challenge is for reviewers, and for me, those that need to get above 80%. You can sign up for this challenge until December 31, 2019. I’m going for Gold (50 books) and hoping to clean off my Netgalley shelf this year. 🤞 During this quarter, I read 6 eARCs from Netgalley.
