Happy Monday everyone! So obviously if you follow the blog, I’m behind. I had high hopes last Sunday and thought I would have a post for every day…not the case. Unfortunately life took over. Specifically potty training. I’ve been doing it now for three months, setting a timer, using stickers, candy and everything under the sun to brag my child to use the potty. Finally this week I’d had enough. He is now in underwear 😀 Are we still setting a timer for every 45min-1hr? Yes. Are we still having accidents? Some. But you know what…$50+ on diapers a month is no longer being spent which makes this one happy mama!
So even though the blog has been unproductive (i.e. no reviews, no posts, etc for several unplanned days) and my house is a complete wreck, my child is semi-potty trained and loves boxer briefs 😆 so I feel productive. Also I did get quite a bit of reading in. I finished the first two books of the Daughter of Smoke and Bone Trilogy by Laini Taylor and a few other ARCs so reviews are on the way!
And it’s Thanksgiving here in America this week so I will be taking a planned (very short) hiatus after Wednesday and returning Sunday. My parents are coming into town for a few days and we are cheating with a meal from the Cracker Barrel for our dinner. Also have plans to take little man to see the Speedway in Lights in Bristol. Should be a fun week. What are your plans?

Okay I’m hooked. I have literally devoured this series. I’m on the last book and I can’t tell you how much I don’t want it to end! Why did I ever think I wouldn’t like this series?!

I do not miss potty training! The good thing is that now that it’s done most of the memories faded! Getting that done is definitely worth having to miss posting for a few days! Looks like you got some good books to distract yourself with though. Have a happy Thanksgiving and a great week!
