I’m honestly at a loss for words. It’s no secret that I loved the first two books in the series. Initial Reaction: It’s taken me a couple of weeks to regroup after reading Victoria Aveyard’s debut novel Red Queen. I devoured this book and fell in love with the characters and the world they live in. Set in a dystopian world were the color of your blood determines your rank in society, Red Queen is full of romance, action, and betrayal. Mare is now my new favorite heroine. She’s 17 when her world literally falls apart. Her best friend is drafted into a war that is a century old and it’s up to her to find a way to save him. She’s quick-tempered, snarky,…
