Review: Mail Order Bride (A Timeless Romance Anthology)

I absolutely loved this anthology which features one of my favorite authors, Stacy Henrie. The Mail Order Bride Collection includes 6 novellas all featuring the trend of mail order brides during the late 1800s and the Western expansion. I love this time period in America so it was a real treat! I was also impressed with how 6 authors could write about the same topic to such a varying degree. Each had her own unique spin to the topic of being a mail order bride and the outcome. Written in the Stars by Stacy Henrie I adored this story!!! Georgie is a young… Read more »

Today I am so excited to participate in the blog tour for the release of Hope Rising, the second book in Stacy Henrie’s series Of Love and War that centers around characters in the midst of World War I. I love historical fiction! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to say it enough. This series puts real life faces with the soldiers, nurses, and families left at home during the Great War. It was a different time and the author does a wonderful job of immersing the reader into not only the War but the cultural and social differences of the… Divider

Saturday Shorts #21 – A Christmas Hope by Stacy Henrie

December 13, 2014 Reviews 2

So thankful for the weekend! It’s been a long week…This week I had the honor of reviewing Stacy Henrie‘s A Christmas Hope, a novella from her Of Love and War series. Though a little longer than your typical novella, it is perfect for those of you that enjoy clean romance and historical fiction (my vice). What’s not to love about a sweet story during the Christmas season?! Stacy Henrie‘s A Christmas Hope follows the evolving relationship between Maria Schmitt and Dale Emerson. Maria is a character that I fell in love with during Hope at Dawn. She was hopelessly in love, or I guess infatuated… Read more »
