Earlier this month I got an email from the very talented Isobel Irons stating that her second book in the Issues series was ready and I was on her list for an advanced reading copy. So as I sat reading this email, it took all of my willpower to not jump up and down and squeal like my inner thirteen year old wanted me to. Once I calmed down enough to respond coherently, I of course accepted the ARC because let’s face it. I loved book one Promiscuous and I was beside myself that I was getting a chance to read about Tash’s… Read more »

This series does need to be read in order otherwise you will be lost! Book Demographics Honored by M.A. Wilder Print Length: 279 pages Sold by: Amazon Digital Services, Inc. Oh. My. God!!!!!! So just like with book two I thought this installment couldn’t live up to the last, but it did and then some! I just don’t even know where to start. How bout the beginning… Angelsong book three of the Dark Angel series by  picks up right where Angelstone left off. Israel is lying on his death bed after being poisoned from a knife wound. It is up to Alyx to save him. She turns to Jordan for help. Step one of their plan is to save Mayrekk. He is the only one they believe that will know how to save Israel…. Read more »

Wow!!! Just…..I don’t even know what to say!!!! Angelstone picks up right where book one left off. Alyx with Jordan’s help has rescued Israel and the mysterious girl Mini from Michael’s hollows. Israel and Alyx have decided to be “just friends” (as if that’s even possible!!!). This story does not disappoint! I’m always leery about sequels. Usually they fall short of the first book, but this one does not! The action and suspense immediately pick up with Samyara leaving bodies for Alyx and Israel with their names burned onto them (a little homage to Israel doing this to the Darkened when looking… Read more »

More than anything the path of destiny takes great courage, not the greatest gifts or skill. -Mayrekk Angelfire the first book of the Dark Angel series by Hanna Peach took me on such a wonderful adventure, full of suspense, twists and turns, and new romance. This series starts with a demon meeting a seraph in a bar called Purgatory, but they are being watched, spied on by another. This prologue hooked me. Then we are introduced to Alyx, the main character who is a lightwarrior for Michaelea, a seraphim city. Alyx is bonded to a mortal Israel. It is her job to protect him… Read more »

First let me say Wow! This book hooked me from the first lines and I could not sit it down. I immediately picked up with book two and finished them both in three days. Armored tells a tale about a girl coming of age and finding out that all of our Earth myths are not only true but in fact alien. The story starts with our heroine Beckit Wright. She is a seventeen year old on the verge of high school graduation, captain of the swim team, and–through her own description–not a girl to turn heads. She’s an orphan and remembers nothing from… Read more »

Doctor’s Orders……

Doctor’s Orders……

March 4, 2014 Features 0

So today I am taking a sick day thanks to K. Bromberg and her last book of the Driven Trilogy Crashed. If you have not read these books I highly suggest you do (that is if you are over 18 and a woman!). A novel classified as erotica is usually not my cup of tea, however this trilogy written by a new author and indie published has such a heart-wrenching story. Below you will find my doctor’s note from Mrs. Bromberg herself so you see, I’m excused! I will be clutching tissues and sobbing in a corner if you need me………. Read more »

February 27, 2014 Reviews 1

Today I will be continuing with the Imdalind Series by Rebecca Ethington. If you’ve missed the posts for the first two books, don’t worry just click on them below. Kiss of Fire Eyes of Ember If you’ve enjoyed the series so far, then I think you will really enjoy book three. I think I may like it better than Eyes of Ember! This story though is slightly different. The first two books are told exclusively from Joclyn’s POV. However this story is told during the two weeks that she is trapped in Cail’s mind and is told by Ilyan and Wyn… Read more »
