Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at The Broke and the Bookish. It’s Tuesday which means another list 😀 This week’s topic is “Top Ten Characters You Wish Would Get Their OWN Book (minor or just maybe a semi main character you wish a book was from their POV).” I could literally go on for days about characters I want to learn more about!… Read more »

Saturday Shorts #18 – Christmas in Snow Village Blog Tour

November 8, 2014 Features, Reviews 2

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all have had a great week 😀 Today I am so excited to be participating in the blog tour for Christmas in Snow Valley, a bundle of 6 short, clean romances set in the little town of Snow Valley, Missouri. What I really liked about them is that each story is roughly 100 pages and takes only a couple of hours to read, but in those couple of hours you get a chance to know and love the characters. Each story has a Christian theme and is centered around the Christmas holiday. If you are… Read more »

Waiting on Wednesday #4 – Addiction by Angela McPherson

November 5, 2014 Features 4

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we are all eagerly anticipating. This week I’m dying to get my hands on Addiction by Angela McPherson, book two in the new series Distraction. I read Distraction back in August and fell in love with the two main characters Tristan and Elle. They were real and very relatable. I felt like I knew them in real life by the end of the book! And while it didn’t end with a cliff-hanger per say it did leave me wanting more and more of their story. It… Read more »

The Hunt for Snow by S.E. Babin – Blog Tour, Meet the Author, & More!

November 2, 2014 Features, Interviews, Reviews 2

Excerpt I’d never fought a troll before—never had to, actually. What I did know about them was minimal. Magic wasn’t all that effective on them. Neither was fire or lightning. Ice slowed them down a little bit, but ice melted. Brute force was going to be necessary. We had about two hundred villagers on our side—almost every single one inexperienced. Five trolls could decimate a village and every single person in it. “All right, everyone grab something you can defend yourself with. Anything. Chairs, paintings, knives, someone you hate. Kidding. If they’re able to get in here, it wouldn’t necessary… Read more »
