I can honestly say that I have never laughed so hard while reading a book. I literally woke my husband up from a dead sleep because I was laughing hysterically! Today I wanted to share with you a book I received through one of my Goodreads groups. I will apologize now as I may gush in the review (yes, I liked the book that much!). I personally have not read many books about the world of fairies so I don’t have anything to compare the world building of this novel. That being said, I simply loved the intricacy of the story and plot. If you enjoy mythology and the world of fairies, don’t miss out on this book! Book Demographics Fae by C.J. Happy Friday everyone! Today’s review is book two of a novella series by Rose Wynters. I came across book one back in October and fell in love with the series! I mean really, what’s not to like?! Short, quick read about a zombie apocalypse. I’ll be the first to tell you that when I picked up book one, I really thought I’d dislike it. I’m just not a zombie fan, even the Walking Dead I just don’t care for. But the quick wit and irony of the main character caught my attention and both books I read in one sitting…. Read more »

So, so, SO good!!! Shock Me by  is the first in the  series about a group of teens with super powers. This particular story revolves around seventeen year old Donna Young and begins with her freaking out and running home after someone told her that they would kill her if they saw her. The story is then flashes back two months and it takes almost the entire book to get back to what happened in the first few pages. I have to say I loved this story! It took me a little while to follow it as the POV is told… Read more »

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. So I’ve never participated in #MCM (man candy monday, is that right?), but today I am. I read this particular book just because I wanted to and needed a little break from reality. Another reason I chose this particular book is I love the author’s series Dark Angel and wanted to try her adult series. So I know what you are thinking. Is this erotica? Yes and No. It’s not Fifty Shades but it’s also not a clean read. This book focuses on abuse and some of its consequences. If… Read more »
