The Sunday Post_ Month in Review
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things you have received. Share news about what is coming up on your blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

The countdown is on!!! Only 60 days left till we move 😀 April was fun and full! My husband spent the first week in Puerto Rico for a conference and the rest of the month we’ve enjoyed beautiful East TN Spring weather. It’s almost warm enough for the pool!

Reading wise I read 21 books this month (I’m thinking that’s a new record) and wrote 23 reviews. May will be just as full of reading as I participate in the ARC Clean Sweep challenge.

Favorite April Read

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare is my pick for favorite in April. I can’t believe it took me so long to start the series! I’m ashamed to admit that I didn’t even know about the series until the movie came out. I put off watching the movie because I wanted to read the books first and well 4 years later here we are 😉 I can’t wait to read the rest!!!

Favorite April Quote

“Life starts in the deep end, angel. Don’t spend the rest of your existence just watching from the edge.”

What are you looking forward to in May?

May is going to be just as busy as April for us. Little man will be “graduating” from preschool. Plus MOVING!!! We only have 60 days left. I’m going tomorrow to pick up some boxes and get to packing in earnest. Have I ever mentioned just how much I hate packing? Because I do…I HATE IT!!!!

Reading wise I’m hoping to knock out my summer ARCs so that I can get those scheduled before the move. We’ll be without internet for at least 2 weeks possibly 3. While I’ll have my phone to check email and respond to comments, posting from my phone is terrible! If anyone is interested in helping me out with a guest post, I’d gladly pimp you out on the blog 😉

What are your plans for next month? Reading anything special?

  1. Don’t forget to post in the group about the guest posts, I am sure our COYER friends will help out 🙂 I am thinking of one I can do for you, unless you have a suggestion. I do enjoy top ten lists 🙂

If we ever move, I am not looking forward to packing this house. Good luck with the move. The next 60 days is going to fly by and then you will be settled and all fresh and new! Very exciting. 🙂

I hope you have an awesome week, Lillian! Happy Reading!

    • I will Michelle! I’m working on that today actually 😉 and if you have something in mind already just tell me a day that works for you June 20-July 8 and I’ll mark you down 😀

  2. Something’s changed. Is it the colour of your links Lillian? I think I had trouble reading the yellow so that might be it!

Preschool graduation sounds exciting and moving… well, once it’s done it’s good, but the packing and moving and unpacking is the problem! 😉

    • I did change the colors! Do you like them better? I liked the blue but it made the fonts hard to read.
Hope you have a great week 😀
